Group Volunteering
We offer on-site group volunteer opportunities on a limited, seasonal basis, depending on operational needs. Because of space and workflow constraints, we are not able to accommodate groups larger than 10 participants at a time.
All group volunteers must be at least 12 years old. Group shifts are typically scheduled from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with limited flexibility in this range.
Due to the structured nature of our work, group opportunities vary. Please reach out to volunteer@foodforothers.org to inquire about bringing a group out to support!
If we are unable to host a group due to size limits or a lack of available dates, we encourage groups to support our mission in other meaningful ways, including:
- Hosting an off-site food drive
- Making a monetary donation
- Coordinating a tour for our facility
- Participating in annual special events, either as volunteers or participants
- Volunteering individually during our regular shifts
- Explore our corporate engagement opportunities
- Committing to a season of gleaning (Learn more here!)
These options often provide more flexibility while still making a significant impact in our community.
