Are you looking for a group volunteer opportunity?

We’re so glad your group is interested in volunteering at Food for Others! Whether you’re a corporate, social, or school group, volunteering is a great opportunity for group bonding while giving back.

We have two onsite volunteer opportunities for groups!

  1. Power Pack Volunteers
  2. Warehouse Volunteers

If you’d prefer to stay at your location, your group could consider running a food drive or hosting a Power Pack assembling event.

Power Pack Program Volunteer

Help Food for Others alleviate child hunger by supporting our Power Pack Program (P3). As a Power Pack Program (P3) volunteer, you’ll help assemble weekend meal packs for students experiencing food insecurity.

The Power Pack Program currently serves roughly 3,181 students each week at 45 FCPS schools. Each meal pack includes two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, two snacks, and two drinks.

  • P3 Volunteer group shifts are from 4pm to 6pm on weekdays
  • Group size is between 6-20 people
  • All volunteers must wear close toed shoes
  • P3 group volunteers must be at least 18 years old

Groups who are interested in volunteering but are unable to come to our warehouse or have children younger than 18, can consider hosting off-site Power Pack assembly events. Click here to learn more.

    • Volunteers must be at least 12 years old
